Four new leaderboards record different kinds of success in International Student Simulator—from overall outcomes and academics to wealth and repeat runs—without uploading players’ private story text.

Hello everyone, this time International Student Simulator has updated the ranking list.

Originally, there was only a relatively light illustration list in the game, which recorded how many endings players had unlocked. It's safe and in line with the state of the first version: let everyone play it first, see which routes they have taken, and don't rush to turn everything into scores.

But after playing a few versions, I began to feel that there are actually many postures for "surviving" in the Liuzi simulator. Some people have good GPAs, some manage their money very well, and some people stumble along the way but just restart many times. Using only one illustration list seems a bit too thin.

Therefore, four new lists were added this time: the list of Tianxuan children, the God of performance list, the Buffett list of second-hand groups, and the list of reopened children.

The names sound very unserious, but they correspond to several very real game results.

The Tianxuanzi list depends on the overall performance. It does not look at a single value, but integrates academic, financial, social, spiritual, health, progress and some key experiences. To put it bluntly, it’s just to see if you can live more like a human in the end of this round.

Academic performance is judged on the GPA list. Although there is no complete and true 4.0 GPA system in the game, the current version will use existing academic values to make an academic score. It does not guarantee rigor, it only guarantees that when you see this list, some people who are good at writing papers will automatically come to mind.

Second-hand group Buffett list to see the final money status. In studying abroad life, money is always a hidden thread. Rent, supermarkets, transportation, part-time jobs, second-hand groups, and occasional impulse purchases will eventually become a certain kind of cash flow destiny. Being able to maintain a decent financial status on the checkout page is worthy of being on the list in itself.

Reopening the list of children is more simple. It records the number of times an ending was completed effectively. This list does not reward perfection, only your willingness to start over again. To a certain extent, this may be the list closest to the spirit of VibeSims: life is difficult, but try it again.

I don't want to make the leaderboard a pressure.

The rankings of many games will make people feel that only the strongest, fastest, and highest deserve to be seen. But "Ryuko Simulator" is not this kind of game. What it simulates is not competition, but the bifurcation of different lifestyles.

So these lists are more like angles than a single path to success. Some people keep their grades, some manage their budgets, some rely on social interaction to survive, and some collapse all the way but survive to the end. They can all be logged.

After settlement, the game will automatically attempt to submit the structured score for the round. There is a boundary that must be made clear here: the leaderboard will not upload your character name, file text, event text, choice result text or ending text. All it needs is the result fields required for the list, such as information such as route, ending ID, score, and illustration progress.

I have always felt that this boundary is particularly important for International Student Simulator.

Because some words in this game are personal. Even if they are randomly generated, they may remind players of their own experiences. There is no need for a list to take away these things. The website only needs to know "what results were achieved in this game", not "who does this game remind you of".

In order to prevent the leaderboard from becoming another annoying system, failure and retry states are also implemented this time.

If you are not logged in, or the submission fails, the game will not pretend to be successful, nor will it freeze in place. You can try again later, or keep watching your ending. Leaderboards are add-on and should not hijack the checkout page.

The list page has now been changed to multiple tabs. If you want to see comprehensive results, look at the list of talented students; if you want to see academics, look at the god of performance; if you want to see who can make the best use of limited funds, look at the second-hand group Buffett; if you want to see who can best reopen, look at the list of students who can reopen.

After this update, the ending page will be more like a small graduation ceremony than before. You have completed a round, and the system gives you an ending. It also asks you: Do you want to put this round on a certain list?

Of course, it doesn't matter whether you make the list or not.

What really matters is that every game leaves a possibility open.

Some people are chosen by nature, some become gods based on their merits, some survive by relying on second-hand group financial management, and some just reopen their business many times.

But as long as you survive to the checkout page, it’s not easy.

Welcome to see how everyone finished this game.
